Ordered a Windows 7" notebook from Prosource Wireless in 2011...what a rip off.

Bought a Windows 7" notebook as gift for a family member. You can imagine how disappointing it was when it was opened and it never powered up. Still in the box waiting for a RMA. It would be great to get the $79.99 back from this purchase. However, I feel this will be unlikely, since there are several complaints out there. I consider myself very fortunate, since I didn't purchase the extended warrantee or the longer lasting battery. Not only is the product worthless, but the company doesn't supply a RMA upon request and have seen other complaints that they also don't issue refunds either. Beware

I BOUGHT A NOTEBOOK ON DEC19 2013 FOR $129. I ordered 2 brand new netbooks for both my grandsons birthday last February, yes over a year ago. I specifically told them when I needed them by and what color (2 black ones). They did not send the out until the day I was to receive them so they were several days late. When I did get them them they were 2 used, scratched up netbooks without batteries or cords. Immediately called the company Chris told me that he would send 2 new units (green & white) along with the batteries but if I wanted cords I would have to pay for them and they would charge me 25% of what I had paid for a restocking fee. Of course I said "I was not about to pay twice for what I had already paid for and the batteries should have came with the original raggedy units" Before he sent them I would have to return the 2 (pay out of my own pocket) and call them with the tracking number, pay the 25% restocking fee then he would send the others. I went around and around with him, he finally slammed the phone down in my ear and I filed a complaint with the BBB. I just got a letter from them (BBB) last week that Pro Source is now out of business and they can do no more, I had already filed a complaint with the Atty Generals Office. I'm just hurring up and waiting and I certianly do want all my money back with interest! I'm stuck with 2 used scratched up netbooks that are still in the original package, in the exact same condition I received them in and will never be able to use!

I ordered 3 netbooks for my grand son last year for Christmas/ 349.00. I am on a fixed income and never got them/ I called every day.

went thru post office for lost items/ so pissed and sad/ how ppl rip off ppl. nothing has never been resolved $$$$$$$$$$ :(

Returned merchandise - never received refund

Ordered and received two netbooks in the mail...horrible quality! One was okay for $99 and was for my 10 yr old, so I kept it. The other was not worthe the $190 so I called ProSource and told them I was returning it. I also told him, a guy name Sean, that I didn't receive my extra charger that I had paid $19.99 for and would expect a refund on that also. This was in late November 2012, early December. As of today February 14, 2013, I have not received my refund, nor have I been able to get anyone to email me back or call me back. I have contacted them weekly about this - no communication. TOTAL SCAM company!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I went thru the same thing & Sean is a huge, arrogant ***!!!!! There's only 2 things you can do: File a complaint with Florida's Attorney General. They are finally taking our complaints against this total rip off company seriously & the more complaints they get the more likely it will be that they close them down!!!

Try submitting a credit card dispute with your bank. That was the only way I got my money back, thankfully, about 6 months later. After numerous calls, rude conversations with Sean & other employees, being hung up on & told by Sean I would "never get my money back". Haha, I got the last laugh!!!!

Where is my 7 in mini WiFi Netbook?

I ordered a 7 inch mini WiFi Netbook from this company on Dec. 18, 2012 as a gift for my son. Cost for express ship (29.99 was included).. the funds were debited from my account on Dec. 18. It is now Feb.27, 2013 and I have still not received computer...not received phone call. letter, credit or an answer to numerous emails. I am not sure what recourse I have at this time. Don't know if the company is still in business or not. Need some resolution....money refunded or explanation to why this is happening would be great!

Never Received my netbook

Never received my netbook order place Nov 21 2012. It was for a gift for a child. I called many times always went to voice mail. I sent eamils and message no response from pro source. One time I did get an answer and guy answering said it wasnt por source than when I called back it went to prosources voice mail. I am really mad .....child want a little computer and i was trying to help with gifts. Never received my netbook order place Nov 21 2012. How can a company get away with this? i cannot find the web site now.

TOTALLY BAD COMPANY--ALL AROUND BAD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I purchased 2 netbooks, then decided to purchase a 3rd netbook within a day of each other. I finally received 2 netbooks right before Christmas. 1 was what I ordered, 2nd was not what I ordered, 3rd I still have not received. I have sent this company e-mails over and over and they have never responded to a single e-mail. I have called this company too many times. I either get voice mail which is full or a recording forwarding the phone number to a voice mail. I have NEVER, been contacted back by this company. This company took the money out of my account, has not refunded the money for the 3rd netbook that they have never produced. Stay away from this company, they are a total rip off and do business in the USA, but do not represent an American Business. They are *** in all terms.

What a HUNK OF JUNK!!!

Prosource Wireless...great bargain netbooks that don't work worth a %^&*. The first plug in sent had both prongs pull off and stay in the wall socket and the "upgraded 6 hour battery" lasted about 3. The second one lost a prong on the very first use AND the plug in socket on the netbook "turtled up" and disappeared into the hole. I now have absolutely no way to charge the *** thing and after multiple emails still haven't heard a word from Prosource. These netbooks are cheap pieces of junk and the company is as unprofessional as you can get. Do NOT buy from them!!!

Too Many Pro Source VICTIMS

Ordered Android Tablet back in Oct. 2012..it had no wifi and looked like a kids toy tablet. We returned it and was told we could exchange for a Mini Netbook. (What a mistake. If I still had the Tablet I could maybe sell it at a garage sale for a couple bucks). Too many phone calls and emails to them to keep track. They literally tell so many lies that they can't keep track. It is now Feb. 2013 and NOTHING. Of course now you can't even leave a message on their machine. I'm mad that I didn't check them out before ordering. They are a complete scam and I hope the law catches up to them one of these days.

Took my money nothing in retrun

i ordered a net book from prosource wireless on the 16 of dec for my daughters christmas i paid the 94.99 plus the extra postage of 29.99 for the 1-2 day shipping then nothing they took the money out of my account and never sent anything on the shipping i have tried calling and e-mails and no repsonce from them at all i have filed a complaint with the bbb and my bank is investigating it too but in the mean while im out of almost 125.00 for nothing wish i would have done some research before i made this mistake

Dont Order From This Company!!!

I ordered a netbook. Two weeks later it stopped working. After contacting the company they advised me to send it back to them and they would send me a new one. So I mailed it back but didnt receive the new working netbook until a month and a half later. Then a month after we received the "new" working computer it did the same thing as the first and wouldnt even turn on. I contacted the company again and they advised me to send it back again and they would send me another one due to the company not refunding money. I had a tracking number put on the computer when I mailed it so I would know the company received it. They received it alright.... June 12, 2012 and I still have yet to receive a netbook to replace the second broken one! Now I cant get in contact with the company. They wont respond to e-mails and when I call there is no answer. This company is a joke and a disgrace to the hard working Americans that have wasted their money on these products. I hope something about all these complaints is done SOON cause I am absolutely fed up!!!!!!!!

Sent me half my order and won't return my calls or messages

I ordered 2 mini lap tops and a tablet on november 23rd 2012, lap tops finally got shipped out on december 6th. Still waiting on tablet, and christmas is 5 days away. Nobody returns my calls or messages, I've been charged for all items but didn't received them all! I'm definitely a pissed consumer! They never considered that these were christmas gifts so now my daughters have a lap top and my son doesn't have his tablet! I amok never order anything else from here I'm super aggravated and annoyed with all the run around I received!

Have not recieved ordered item/ no call back from company

I ordered a prosource netbook for my daughter 12/18/12. As of today, my status is still pending. I have not been able to contact anyone from customer service as well. When ever I call, the recorded vm comes on. Previously I have left messeged but no one has ever responded. . tommorow I will contact my finacial insttitiution to get my money back . I need to purchase another netbook for my daughter. It was to help her for school. I have read many ,many complaints about this products defects, late shipping , etc.... I no longer want the product. Prosource Wireless - horrible

I called and I've waited and still no return of money. I wish I saw this site before buying, First, I called the company looking for a mini computer (not really wise on tablets, but now I am) and discussed what I wanted and they said the small notebook (which I thought was a mini computer) would fit my needs, but they didn't really ask what I needed - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - they just wanted my money and when I got it and tried it, I immediately sent it back and called them to let them know and now they tell me they have a restocking fee of $40 - I didn't realize it, WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME!!!! Since I didn't seem to know what I was doing. It cost me $20 to send it back, so now I'm paying $60 for something I had a few days. I did write a letter and talk to them about it - and told them it must be nice taking advantage of a senior who has no income and was trying to save by getting a MINI COMPUTER!! NOW I HAVE NOTHING AND SPENT $60 FOR IT! WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Beware of this company

My son has been in the hospital for 6 months being treated for cancer. I tried to buy a few net books for the pediatric oncology floor from this company on Aug. 3rd and paid extra for expedited shipping. Called Aug. 13th to cancel  because I needed it quickly.  They said, sorry but we shipped it out on the 10th and they would send me a tracking number.  Got tracking number on 14th thru USPS. Called a week later and they said, sorry your order is back ordered.  THOUGHT IT SHIPPED, LIARS. Said to cancel it, they said OK.  Will receive refund to PayPal early next week which would if been Aug 24. Didn't get refund.   Made a complaint thru PayPal on 9/4.  Received call 9/5 that it is out for delivery today. Told him to him to cancel it and refund.  Said to refund immediately and they can wait for return.  Said against company policy to do that. I said so the employees can subjectively follow policy.  Lying multiple times is fine but refunding me immediately is not. Finally got full refund but this company has such poor integrity, not worth the risk.

Beware prosource wireless

I chose a small netbook computer from this company as a graduation gift for my 18 year old autistic granddaughter. I got an email from them asking me to call them, and we upgraded the computer so it would run better, more memory, better battery, warrantee, etc. A couple weeks later I emailed them asking when they expected to send it, and I had to email them twice to get an answer. I finally got the computer. Not what I expected. It was set up for another country, I am in the US, and likely some kind of OS familiar to another area. Another problem was the touch pad. It was very quirky, jumpy, worked, then jumped to another area, then didn't work. So I bought a mouse. I have 3 computers at home, two at work, an iPod and a iPad, but am unfamiliar with the browser, and can't reset it. Finally I had to contact them with two issues: it ran so slow the videos on you tube took several minutes to load. Also, my daughter runs from her router a game system, two iPods, a laptop, and I go over and use my iPad. Everything all together or in any combination runs smooth and fast. But when this netbook connects everything else is knocked off. So I contacted prosource wireless. It took two emails. Their answer was, call them. Great, I have limited minutes but I called them anyway. They said to speed it up I need a SD card. Why didn't they mention that and include it in their offer to upgrade it, they were obviously aware of the problem. As for this netbook knocking all other devices off line, they said it is the router, not their fault. I told them It is not the router because all other devices run fine. So now I have to buy a card for this, and she can only use it when nobody else is using any other device. Conclusion: They are not at all helpful. They don't answer emails, just tell you to call, which is inconvenient if you have limited minutes. They know there are problems which they do not disclose until you discover them. they deny that anything could be wrong with the computer. And after I thought about it, I never got a copy of my 3 year warrantee!
